Ella Mae Bellard

Ella "MaeMae" Bellard, 48, of Lake Charles passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 in a local hospital. Ms. Bellard was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School and worked most of her life caring for the elderly. She took great pride in her appearance, loved to dress, be in the spot light, and behave in a manner that earned her the "title" "Princess Di". Ms. Bellard also to great pride in serving her Lord and Savior, teaching Children's Church and taking time through all of her challenges and pain, to glorify God. She was an active member of Living Word Christian Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Marketta Renee Bellard (Ernest) and Lakeya Marie Bellard; her parents, Percy and Evella Bellard; two brothers, Percy Bellard, Jr. and Christopher Corey Bellard; five sisters, Mary Bellard, Bertha Gradnigo (Ronnie) , Berline Smith (Hubert), Patricia Leday (Merlin) and Aundrail Hill; many nieces, nephews and cousins; "honorary grandson", Ayden Wade Wright and dear friends, Lillian "Baby doll" Simon and Jerry Landry. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Brian Watley and her best friend, Angela Davis Hayes. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Living Word Christian Center. Reverend Joseph Banks will officiate.
