Elwin C. LeBlanc, 82, of Lake Charles, LA died Monday, March 2, 2015 in a local hospital. Carroll was born on March 29, 1932 in Lacassine, LA to Reaul and Stella LeBlanc. He was a 1950 Lacassine High School Graduate. Carroll retired in 1987 from Conoco Oil Refinery as Tank Foreman Supervisor. He served our country in the U.S. Air force in the Korean War. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He also enjoyed "working and dancing to French music". He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Flournoy Mallett; two sons, Joseph C. and wife Kathy LeBlanc of Lake Charles, LA and Jerald " Jerry" Keith and wife Tammy of Lake Charles, LA; one daughter, Jacquelyn Brenner and husband Russell of Katy, TX; one brother, Billy Ray LeBlanc of Jennings, LA; three sisters, Lois Bellaire of Lake Charles, LA, Betty Roberts of Lake Charles, LA, and Helen Moreau of Iowa, LA; six loving grand children and five loving great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Judith Lynn LeBlanc; first loving wife and mother of his children, Gwendolyn Evelle LeBlanc; one sister, Margie Verrett; and two brothers, Benny LeBlanc and "Little" Jimmy LeBlanc. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary and scripture service at 6:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Father Emmanuel Tanu will officiate services.
