Emma Louise Snyder Craw, 91, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 10:50 AM on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in a local care facility. Mrs. Craw was born January 31, 1924 in Pineville, LA, was a graduate of Bolton High School in Alexandria, LA and has lived in Lake Charles for the past sixty-eight years. She was a charter member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Order of St. Luke, the Episcopal Christian Women, the Prayer Ministry and served on the Altar Guild. She was a member of the Garden Club. Mrs. Craw enjoyed watching old movies and was always seeking a closer relationship with God through reading and studying her devotionals. Mrs. Craw is survived by her daughters, Donna Miller and husband Tom of Mandeville, LA and Helen Young and husband Richard of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Lisa Migliore and husband Sam of Mandeville, LA, Traci Armand and husband John of Jacksonville, FL, Katherine Yoes and husband Brandt of Lake Charles, LA, and Robert Young of Lafayette, LA; seven great-grandchildren and another great-grandson on-the-way. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years, Donald Bailey Craw; parents, Joseph and Eva Snyder; and brothers, Langston Snyder and John K. Snyder. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2015 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The Reverend Deborah B. Heathcock and Father Peter Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue on Friday at the church from 1:00 PM until the start of the service. The family would like to express a special word of thanks to Dr. Sandra Bruno and the staff at Brookdale Senior Living for the care and compassion shown to their mother.
