Ena Thibodeaux Adams, 97, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 8:50 PM on Friday, August 17, 2012 in her granddaughter's residence.
Mrs. Adams was born October 5, 1914 in Little Chenier, LA and lived in Georgia for fifty years where she worked thirteen years in a cotton mill. She moved back to Lake Charles in 1996. She attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Hendrid "Bea" Faulk McGill of Lake Charles; granddaughter, Jo Beth Bourgeois and husband Tommy of Lake Charles; great-grandchildren, Gabe McGill and Nickie Champion; and great-great-grandchild, Emily Pinney.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Kenny Faulk and Terrell Adams; infant son, Maxie Faulk; grandchild, Chris McGill; son-in-law, Billy McGill; parents, Pierre Thibodeaux and Anna Trahan Broussard; step-father, Eloi Broussard; brothers, Pierre Thibodeaux and Calvin Thibodeaux; half-brothers, Alpha Broussard and Hubert Broussard; and sister, Lurlie Broussard.
Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Ruben Buller will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 AM until the start of the service with a rosary at 1:00 PM.
