Funeral service for Mrs. Ennis Marie Richard Regan will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA. There will be a visitation at the church from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed immediately by a funeral mass officiated by Father Edward J. Richard, MS. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a rosary at 6:30 pm, lead by members of the Catholic Daughters Court of Our Lady of LaSalette #1255, at the Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. Mrs. Regan passed away at her home in Sulphur in the early hours of Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was under the care of Heart of Hospice at the time of her death. Mrs. Regan was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved being with people, loved traveling and made two trips to Rome for Papal Visits with her daughter, Carla. Mrs. Regan was a hairdresser most of her adult life. She was a longtime member of the Sulphur Garden Club and a Pink Lady volunteer at West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital for over 25 years beginning in 1982. Mrs. Regan joined the Catholic Daughters in Sulphur in 1949 and was active all of her life. Mrs. Regan is survived by her husband of 73 years, William Ted Regan of Sulphur; daughter, Carla Beth Regan DeCorte, and son-in-law Alan John DeCorte of Covington, LA; and two sisters-in-law, Vivian Richard of Jennings and Dorothy Richard of Carlyss, LA. She has numerous Godchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all those who cared for Mrs. Regan, including the staff of West Cal-Cam Hospital, the staff of Cornerstone Hospital of Southwest Louisiana, the staff of Heart of Hospice, Ethel Simms, Pauline Williams, Kyokla Slydell and especially Ann Baker and Tracy Francis.
