Enrique Henry Moreida

Enrique Henry Moreida, 63, of Moss Bluff passed away, Friday, January 11, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mr. Moreida was born in Weslaco, TX, lived in Corpus Christi, TX and has lived past thirty-seven years in the Lake Charles area. He was a graduate of Harlingen High School and A I University. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fitness and exercise and working around the house. He also loved working in his yard, landscaping and grooming, as his yard was always immaculate. His greatest times were those spent at home with family. Mr. Moreida will be most remembered for his love of life.

He leaves to honor his memory, his loving wife of thirty-one years, Marie Mancil Moreida of Lake Charles; one son, Enrique Rosales Moreida, Jr. and wife Jessica of Sugarland, TX; daughter, Christina Ann Alvarado and husband Albert of Corpus Christi, TX; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Francisco Moreida and wife Dora of Corpus Christi, Richard Moreida and wife Chana of Harlingen, TX and George Moreida and wife Esther of San Antonio, TX and dearest cousin, Gloria Salazar of Harlingen, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio and Esperanza Rosales Moreida and one brother, Manuel J. Moreida.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Interment will follow in Westlake Memorial Park. Father Albert Borel will officiate. Visitation Wednesday will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
