Eric Lee Friesner

Eric Lee Friesner, 36, of Westlake, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. Although Eric suffered for many years with his earthly body, he is now made new and at peace in heaven. Music held a special place in Eric's life and rocking out to Ozzy was his favorite pastime. He is survived by his parents, Craig and Vonda Richardson Friesner; brother, Evan Friesner and girlfriend Rachel Cooley; sister, Erin and husband Matt Fullington; nephew, Mason Fullington and niece, Mattie Belle Fullington; maternal grandparents, Gene and Belle Richardson; and paternal grandparents, Fairilee Friesner and the late, Dan Friesner; all of Westlake, La. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM today, Saturday August 22, 2015 at Consolata Cemetery with Rev. Sean Chisholm officiating. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit and Dr. Jay Soileau for the exceptional care and compassion shown to them and Eric during his illness.
