Eric Paul Manuel

Eric Manuel died in Hayes, LA on October 2, 2021, while being cared for by his mother.

Eric was born in Welsh, LA on August 2, 1967, and lived most of his life in LeBleu Settlement.  He worked in the tree service business for several years, and did odd jobs around the area, until his illness.

Survivors include his father, Paul Manuel (Audrey) of LeBleu Settlement; his mother, Alice Manuel of Hayes; sister, Jessica LeBleu of Hayes; and brother, Ricky Manuel (Vickie) of LeBleu Settlement.  He is also survived by his beloved dog, Kilo and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Manuel; paternal grandfather, Lee Manuel; paternal grandmother, Bernice Manuel; maternal grandfather, Calvin Leger; maternal grandmother, Mary Leger; aunt, Brenda Manuel; and great-niece, Neighla Giovanni.

His memorial service will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Simple Traditions.  A gathering of family member and friends will be at Simple Traditions Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
