Eric Weldon Quayhagen

Eric Quayhagen, 64, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. Eric was born February 8, 1960, to Patricia Ann Anderson and James Franklin Quayhagen. 

Eric graduated from cosmetology school. He served proudly in the Army for four years and later served in the National Guard. Eric was an avid crabber and fisherman. He had a black belt in karate and touched many lives through martial arts. He was a jack of all trades, wanting to help anyone with anything. Eric was the best dad. He loved being there and supporting his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are children, Johnette Quayhagen Shepard (Alan), Maci Kai Quayhagen (Trevor), Mallory Elizabeth Berryman, Joshua Eric Quayhagen (Morgan), Elijah Bedell Quayhagen; grandchildren, Ava, Lonnie, Emma, Wyatt, Kara, Masyn, Julianna, Kaci, Kyli, Kena; siblings, James “Tuffy” Quayhagen (Shelly), Jeffery “Jeff” Quayhagen (Alma), Tori Allen (Jeffery), Julie Cotton (Kelly), and Amanda Veuleman (Greg).

He was welcomed into heaven by his mom, Patricia Ann Anderson.

Celebration of life at 1pm Saturday, October 5th at Waters Edge Gathering 2760 Power Center Pkwy Lake Charles, LA 70607.

In lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to donate to help alleviate the cost of cremation. 

Cremation is to be entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
