Eric S. Broussard

Eric Scott Broussard, age 47, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010.

A resident of Lake Charles, he was a master welder and worked for the LDOT for many years and enjoyed hunting. Preceding him in death was his mother, Edna Manuel Broussard, and his grandparents, Landry and Ida Broussard. Eric will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Broussard of Lake Charles; his father, Hubert Broussard, a brother, Stacy Broussard and wife, Renee, and a sister, Janell Broussard all of Lake Charles.

His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Monday from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
