Erick Dwayne Granger

Erick Dwayne Granger, 52 of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, June 01, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.

Erick was born in Lake Charles and lived most of his life in the Lake Charles and Iowa area. He attended Iowa High School. He worked many years as a laborer for contractor, Gulf Gates telephone company. He loved music and dancing, get togethers and cook outs with family and friends. Erick was a loyal son, brother and friend. He will be most remembered for his kind, generous heart and his “soft spot” for the elderly.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Geneva Mott Granger; four siblings, Pamela Kay Granger, Brian Keith Granger, Sheila Ann Granger and Glenn Allen Granger; step-daughter, Holly Marie Miller (Dakota); aunts and uncles; four nephews, Christian and Taylor Granger, Austin Sonnier and Hayden Granger and two nieces, Angel and Miklyn Granger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rayford John Granger.

Visitation Monday will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial in Highland Memory Gardens will be at a later date.
