Erin Leigh Morris

Erin Leigh Morris, 36, of Vinton passed away at 7:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 in her residence.

Erin was born on March 4, 1981 in Lake Charles. She was a graduate of Grand Lake High School and recently moved to Vinton. Erin received her accounting degree from Delta Tech. She was in the business of retail sales.

She was a past volunteer for the Heartstone Foundation SWLA and currently volunteered for CyPhaCon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Olivia Lowery of Vinton; her parents, Charles and Wanda Morris of Lake Charles; seven siblings, James Morris of Lake Charles, Carmen Smith of Iowa, Holly Miller of Bridgeton, NJ, Kirstie Frick of Houston, Michael Morris of Lake Charles, Joe Morris of Lake Charles, and Casey Morris of Houston; and her maternal grandmother, Janet Hicks of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, TC Hicks.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 AM until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to go towards funeral expenses.
