Tena Stoller, born September 8, 1946, to Chester & Elnora Anderson in Clay Center, Kansas, passed away on December 16, 2019, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Tom Anderson, and her brother-in-law, Paul Stoller.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Jack Stoller; daughter, Angela (Norman) Davidson and grandchildren Abigail, Katy and Brady; son, Shaun (Angie) Stoller and grandchildren Jacob, Margaret, Ben and Henry; brother Ken (Debbie) Anderson; sisters, Jo (Bill) Eisele and Beth (Terry) Delp; sister-in-law Karen (Leon) Anderson; brother-in-law, Jim Stoller, and fifteen nieces and nephews.
Tena graduated from Morganville High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Elementary Education from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. She loved her twenty-seven years as a kindergarten and elementary teacher. She later worked as a manager for the Kansas State University and Varney’s Bookstores in Manhattan, Kansas.
In 2016 she moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she loved spending time with Abigail, Katy and Brady; daily chats with her cousins and cheering on the KSU wildcats with Jacob.
Tena preferred a casual lunch for family and friends rather than a traditional funeral. It will be held at the Morganville United Methodist Church, 201 W. Elizabeth St., Morganville, Kansas, on December 30, at 12:00 p.m.
