Esther Carol Blair Price

Esther Carol Blair Price, 87, of Lake Charles, LA died at 3:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013, peacefully, in her home in Dallas TX.

Carol loved living life to its fullest and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed regular bridge games at her house and the homes of her friends. Carol, along with her husband, Ted had a passion for travel. They traveled all over the world, but her favorite place was a tiny town in West Texas called Fort Davis. This is where her heart was. There, they created many happy memories with family and friends.

Carol Price was born on March 15, 1926 in Goose Creek, Texas. She attended Lake Charles High School and McNeese State University. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Walton Price, Sr.

Mrs. Price is survived by her three children, Ted Price, Jr. and wife Kathy of Lake Charles, LA, Carolyn Austin and husband Eddie of Houston, TX, Nancy Price and husband Pete of Little Rock, AR; 8 grandchildren, Ted Price III and Jennifer Blevins, both of Dallas TX; Brian Barrilleaux and Matthew Bryant, both of Houston TX, Laura Price of Little Rock, AR, Billy Smith of Covington, LA, Megan Smith Broussard of Lake Charles, and Katie Smith Jones of Atlanta, GA; and 12 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, April 08, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Chan Willis will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Monday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the church.
