Esther Parker

Esther Mae Parker, 77, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

She was born on February 25, 1942 to Ruth and Oscar Hydle in Starks, Louisiana. Loving her family was truly her passion in life. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family events. She also enjoyed playing bingo and games on her Ipad. She will be loved and greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Darbonne, Rhonda McMillan (Mack), Kaye Parker (Shawn R. Pitre), Sheldon Parker and Jeff Parker (Kim); 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; sisters, Frances Maddox and Shirley Rainwater; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Parker; and two sons, Michael and Bryan Parker.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Private interment will take place in New Ritchie Cemetery at a later date.
