Ethel Lee Lejeune Cook

Ethel Lee LeJeune Cook, 93, of Lake Charles, LA, passed from this life on Friday, August 26, 2022. She was born in DeRidder, LA on March 2, 1929. She grew up in and around the town of Ragley, LA.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Ronald W. Cook of Houston, TX and Clarence Wayne Cook and wife Carrie of Clearwater, FL; her daughter, Irene Faulkner Spencer of Florida; her granddaughter Monica Cook Miller of Plano, TX and husband Richard and their children Andrew, Gabrielle, and Alexandra; her granddaughter Mandi Cook Dyer of Denham Springs, LA and her husband Daryl and their children Liam and Bryce. Ethel is also survived by her sister Velma LeJeune Morgan of Lake Charles, LA and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Enos and Clemence LeJeune; husband Andrew W. Cook; grandson Donovan Wayne Cook; her brothers Marvin LeJeune, Jimmy LeJeune, Jesse LeJeune, Milton LeJeune; and sister Doris Cole.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 am on September 17, 2022 at Consolata Cemetery, 2300 Country Club Rd., Lake Charles, LA 70605.
