Ethelane Broussard

Mrs. Ethelane Broussard, 83, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 in her residence.

Mrs. Broussard was born on May 31, 1934 in Kaplan, LA, to Joseph and Addela Faulk. She grew up and lived in Florence, LA until she married the love of her life and moved to Lake Charles. She worked and retired as an Insurance Clerk for Dr. Drez in Lake Charles. She was known to be very creative in Arts and Crafts as she sewed and made ceramics. Mrs. Broussard also enjoyed playing bingo with the ones she was close to.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Troy Broussard and Amanda Leonard of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Thomas Broussard, Jessica Broussard, Joey Broussard, and Ty Broussard; and her great-grandchildren, Ava and Westin.

Mrs. Broussard is preceded in death by the love of her life, Wilfred Broussard; her parents; her son, Rodric Broussard; and her sister, Wavel.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Father Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday morning at 10:00AM until the time of service. Cremation will be entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
