Etta Marie Daigle, 90, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 10:15 AM on Sunday, October 5, 2014 in a local care facility. Mrs. Daigle was born May 26, 1924 in Lafayette, LA and has lived in Lake Charles for the past sixty-eight years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and worked for many years at LeBleu's Sitter's Club. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening. Mrs. Daigle will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother by her daughter, Vickie Daigle-Aims and companion Cheryl of Ragley; sons, Randy Daigle and companion Rusty Robinson of Sulphur, Gary Daigle and wife Ladena of Sulphur, and Don Daigle of Lake Charles; sisters, Bertha Cradeur, Verna Judice and Shirley Judice and husband Clyde; two grandchildren, Jennifer Dufresne and David Daigle, three great-grandchildren, Lori, Alexis, and Madelyn; dear friends, Bonnie and Lois Guidry; and ex-daughter-in-law, Cindy Daigle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Daigle; five brothers; and one sister. Her graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Consolata Cemetery. Brother Wayne Dartez will officiate. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
