Eula Mae Ellis

Eula Mae (Mrs. Charles L) Ellis, 88, of Lake Charles, died Sunday December 14, 2014 surrounded by her family at a local care center following an extended illness. Eula Mae was born on November 6, 1926 in Eunice to Eugene and Aledia Fontenot. She lived in the Lake Charles area most of her life and was a graduate of Grand Lake High School. She was a homemaker, saleslady for Muller's Department store for 27 years and a member of Grand Lake Faith Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. She leaves to honor and cherish her memories, her beloved husband of 66 years, Charles L. Ellis; daughter, Sharon Ann Huppert; son, Charles Ricky Ellis; four grandchildren, Jeremy Ellis, Matthew Ellis, Courtney Huppert, and Anna Grace Ellis. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM today at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM today at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Martin Officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
