Evelyn Duhon

Evelyn Duhon, 83, of Lake Charles, La died Friday, November 28, 2014 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn Duhon was born on July 23, 1931 in Barbourville, Kentucky to Edward and Daisy Yeager. Ms. Evelyn was a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being around family. She is survived by four children, Rayma Williams, Lynn Patton and husband Scott, Angie Randolph and husband Danny, and Zane Duhon and wife Christy; two sisters, Mae Blankenship and Naomi Leddington; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William Allan Sams and Albert B. Sams Jr.; one grandson, Timothy James Sams. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Garden. Rev. Dale Nazworth will officiate services.
