Evelyn Faye Stailey

Evelyn Faye Stailey, 70, of Moss Bluff died at 7:00 AM on Sunday, March 13, 2011 in her residence.

Mrs. Stailey was born on July 13, 1940 in Lake Charles. She lived most of her life in Moss Bluff where she attended First Baptist Church. She owned and operated a dog grooming business for over 40 years.

In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Donald D. Stailey; one son, Donald P. Stailey and Jennifer of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Tammy Adams and husband Rev. Steve Adams of Vidor, TX; one sister, Yvonne Douget of Lake Charles; one brother, Ernest Benoit of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Aaron, Mark, and Brittany Adams all of Vidor, TX; Jessica Reeves of Westlake, and Ashley Buckner of Westlake; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Swire.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Her son-in-law, Rev. Steve Adams, will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
