Evelyn Hammond

Evelyn Hammond, 89, passed away on July 30, 2022, in a local hospital with her family by her side. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and flowers.  One of her favorite things to do was travel. 

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hammond and companion, Peter Bennett of Houma, LA and Peggy Dorsey of Groves, TX; grandchildren, Brandi Olivier and husband Rick, Amy Guillot and husband David, Courtney Dorsey and Jacob “Jake” Dorsey; great grandchildren, Zoey Olivier, Brooklyn Bailey, Caleb Guillot, Brennan Guillot; and family friend, Danny Ackel.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles Hammond.

Memorial services for Evelyn will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home at 12 PM.  The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service.
