Evelyn Jeneane Carter

Jeneane O'Kelley Carter, 83, of Shreveport, formerly of Westlake, LA died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in a Shreveport care facility. Mrs. Carter was born March 16, 1931 in Merryville, LA. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Pierce Augustus and Elsie Whitman Estes, brother and sister-in-law, Malcolm and Peggy Estes; brother, James Corbitt Estes and beloved husband Willie "Red" O'Kelley, Sr. She is survived by her son, Stephen Ray Estes and wife Lanell of Shreveport, LA; brother, Donald L. Estes of Boulder City, NV; sister, Sibyl Joyce Cannon of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Mary Katherine Estes, Sulphur; grandchildren, Jolie Janell Adams and husband Jason, Stephen James Estes and wife Amber, Justin Pierce Estes, Jonathan Corbitt Estes, and Miriam Elizabeth Hankins and husband Luke; and Four great-grandchildren, Elsie Jane Adams, Lillian Aline Adams, Eli Lull Hankins, and Evelyn Miriam Hankins. Her funeral service will be held at Westlake Memorial Gardens on Sunday December 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
