Evelyn Trahan

Evelyn Kathrine Wilson Trahan, 84, of Kinder, LA, died at 4:25 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in her residence.

Mrs. Trahan was born April 4, 1928 in Sieper, LA, lived in Lake Charles for a number of years and has lived in Kinder since 1984. She was loved and will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Trahan is survived by her husband of forty years, Ronald J. Trahan; daughter, Faith E. Trahan, both of Kinder, LA; and cousin Donald Boudreaux and wife Flo of Alexandria, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pearl Lansdale Wilson; brothers, Irving and Joe Wilson; and sister, Irma Cole.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Thursday at Fellowship Cemetery in Hineston, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
