Rea “Fawn” Anderson Spence

Fawn was born in Stillwater Oklahoma on March 24, 1986. However, she spent most of her life where she felt at home – Sulphur, Louisiana.  She was a member of the 2004 class at Sulphur High where she played goalie on the girls’ soccer team.  She excelled at sports, but soccer was her favorite.

She was happily married to the love of her life, Casey Spence, in 2018. 

She passed away December 11, 2021, at her home in Sulphur.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Casey; her parents Clay and Rita Anderson of Weston Lakes, Texas; her brother Jeremy Anderson (Mary) of Tampa, Florida; and nieces Karis and Kenzie who affectionately called her “Aunt Spot”.  Her surviving grandparents are Mary Anderson of Center Ridge, Arkansas and Nelda and Burlin Gray of Cleveland, Arkansas.  She is survived by members of her Native American family including Adeline Roughface, Josh and JJ Allen, Mitchell Roughface and William "Blu"  Karty all of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Fawn will also be greatly missed by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Tammy Spence; and brother-in-law, Corey Spence. She was Godmother to Dominick Young of Sulphur.  She is also survived by a large number of cousins, aunts, and uncles in Arkansas.

A visitation for friends and family will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Services honoring Fawn’s life will be at 5pm at the funeral home.  Brian Spicer of the Maplewood Church of Christ will officiate.  A graveside service will be held at the Grandview Cemetery in Center Ridge, Arkansas at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, December 21, 2021.
