Fouk Havan

Fouk Havan, 96, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Monday, May 20, 2019.

He was born on June 6, 1922 to Fan Can Van and Oue Lovan in Sonla, Vietnam.

Mr. Havan was a chef who enjoyed his daily glass of merlot, cooking steak and carrots, gardening and kick ball. He also enjoyed playing Powerball, roulette and blackjack.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Onekeo Siriphone (Khamsay) and Chanthanom Chanthapanya (Somchanh); sons, Ahn Lavan (Sisouda) and Khouan Loavan (Khem); 37 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; one brother in Vietnam; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leo Thi Hac; son, Phane Lavan; grandson, Somphone Lavan; and three siblings.

His funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at noon on Saturday, May 25, 2019. The Very Reverend Aubrey Gilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 AM until the start of the service with a rosary being recited at 11 AM.
