Frances Ann Rogers

Frances Ann Rogers, daughter of Cornelius Dobbertin and Ruby Jackson was born December 27, 1930, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She attended school at Immaculate Conception from elementary through high school. After high school she married and devoted her life to raising her four sons. Frances' life was filled with love for her family and many friends throughout her 90 years and was always willing to help others in need. She was married to Curley Paul Rogers for 61 years being lifelong residents of Lake Charles.

She was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, November 11, 2021, by her husband Curley, oldest son Donald Paul, grandsons Tyler Carrol and Justin Robert Rogers.

Frances is survived by her sons C. J. Rogers and wife Micky of Austin, Texas, Robert "TBob" Rogers and wife Peggy of Lake Charles, Michael "Mikey" Rogers and wife Chantell of Lake Charles, sister Carita Dunnehoo. Additionally, Frances leaves

behind grandchildren Jodi Fruge, Cheyenne Pate, Cole Rogers, Cale Rogers, Hannah Richard, Hagen Rogers, Aaron Shawa, Ariel Shawa and six great grandchildren.

Frances not only enjoyed family, she cherished time with her lifelong best friend Mary Agnes Reese, her caregivers, her lunch friend/mail delivery lady and beloved dog Otis.

The family will welcome friends on Monday, November 15, 2021, beginning at 5pm to 8pm, with a Rosary at 6pm. Visitation will resume at 9am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, until time of service. All services will be held at Vineyard Church, 9541 Gulf Hwy in Lake Charles. A funeral led by Deacon Harold Nixon will begin at 10am with burial to follow at Highland Memory Garden.
