Frances Catherine Cathy Klein Langley, 62, of Lake Charles passed away at 12:35 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Langley was born in Gueydan, LA and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She worked forty years as a Registered Nurse, many years in surgery at St. Patrick's Hospital and the past seventeen years in Pre-op and Post-op at Women Children's Hospital. She also worked with Home Health and Hospice Care. Mrs. Langley was an active member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, several prayer groups, Come Lord Jesus Prayer Group, Theresians Group, Acts Retreat and Cursillo Retreat. She will be most remembered as a devoted woman of faith and family and for her desire to ENJOY life.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of forty years, Stanford Stan Ray Langley of Lake Charles; four children, Angie Spiers, Timothy Langley, Christopher Langley and Amanda Langley, all of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Kyler Langley of Sulphur, Aleigh Langley and Kennedi Langley, of Lake Charles and Adeline Spiers of Lake Charles; parents, Francis Joseph Klein, Sr. and Mary Marjorie Lemaire Klein of Gueydan, LA; three brothers, Francis Joseph Klein , Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Karl Klein and wife Jackie of Lafayette and Richard James Klein of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Rebecca Fluitt and husband Jerry of Gueydan, LA and Marjorie Carpenter and husband David of Buffalo, NY; mother-in-law, Esyleta Deshotel Langley of Soileau, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery near Oberlin under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM and continue from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home.
