Frances Marie Bertrand

Frances Marie Bertrand, 94, of Lake Charles, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.  A native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Frances was born on April 21, 1929 to Harry and Minnie Hinton and spent her career as a hairdresser. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; Warner Bertrand, her sisters Carrie H. Vidrine, JoAnn Hebert and her brother Harry (Bud) Hinton. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Joanie Bertrand and Donna Bertrand, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of extended family. Pallbearers are Hayden Hill, Brody Boudreaux, Darrell Hinton, Brandon Fitkin, Dan Morrish, Brad Fitkin, Randall Conner, and Clay Hill.

 Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 5:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake St., Lake Charles, LA., 70605 and will resume Wednesday morning at 9:00A.M.  Funeral services will begin at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2023 also at Johnson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Consolata Cemetery.
