Frances Marie Giovanni Leboeuf

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.

Frances Giovanni LeBoeuf, 81 of Lake Charles went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

Mrs. LeBoeuf was a life long resident of Lake Charles. She was a devoted wife and mother and a volunteer Pink Lady at Moss Regional Hospital. She enjoyed visiting and drinking coffee with company. Mrs. LeBoeuf, a former member of Boulevard Baptist Church was currently a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, five children, Rebecca James and husband William of Dale City, VA; Robert Bertrand, Robin Mills and husband Andrew, Charles Bertrand and wife Shelly and Alice Bertrand, all of Lake Charles; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; half-brother, Ken Racca of Minden, LA and many very dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Gordon Bertrand; second husband, Bert LeBoeuf; daughter-in-law; Trudy Bertrand; parents, John and Alice Giovanni; four brothers, John Jinks Giovanni, Edward Giovanni, William Giovanni and David Giovanni and two sisters, Bea Irving and Mattie Rodrigue.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Shane Kastler will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation Friday will be from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will continue Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
