Frances Virginia Brevelle

Frances Virginia Brevelle, 77, died at 12:19 AM on Monday, April 20, 2020 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Brevelle was born June 19, 1942 in Oakdale, LA, where she graduated from Oakdale High School and from McNeese State University.  She lived in New Orleans, LA and worked for Shell Oil Company for a number of years before moving to Houston, TX.  She most recently moved back to Lake Charles, LA to be closer to her family.  Mrs. Brevelle enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlework and was an avid reader.

Mrs. Brevelle is survived by her sisters-in-law, Ouida Brevelle of Lake Charles and Suzie Baker of Jacksonville, FL; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.T. and Troy Brevelle; brothers, Ted Brevelle and Tommy Brevelle; and sister, Mary Gobert.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
