Frank Brown

Frank Brown, 88, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013.

Mr. Brown lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a veteran of World War II, having served the United States Navy in combat in the Pacific. He was a graduate of Landry High School in Lake Charles and Bowling Green Business University in Bowling Green, KY. Mr. Brown retired as an auditor with the Louisiana Department of Revenue. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Charles, where he served faithfully. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and repairing mechanical and electrical devices.

Mr. Brown is survived by his three sons, Paul Brown and his wife Kaki, Eric Brown and his wife Jennifer, and Roger Brown and his wife Kathleen, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie McKellar Brown.

A Memorial service is planned for 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Chandler Willis officiating.
