Frank Gary Boudreaux, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at 12:53 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, when he went to see Jesus on his 67th birthday.
Gary was born January 8, 1953 in Lake Charles, LA and worked many years for the Lake Charles American Press, where he retired in 2018. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. Gary loved spending time outdoors, going on walks, and enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, his jokes, and his favorite saying, “Toot toot, that’s quite a note!”
Gary is survived by his daughter, Angela Guidry and husband Christian; son, Timothy Boudreaux, all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Neko and Slade Guidry; siblings, Ann and Burt Marmande of Houma, LA, Susan and Lu Christ of Bellaire, TX, Dona and Al Clay of Bellaire, TX, Frances Benesh of Plano, TX, Glen and Honi Boudreaux of Houston, TX, Mary and Glen Graham of Humble, TX, Daniel Boudreaux and Manfred Dehmer of Vancover, Canada, Jenny Boudreaux, of Brookwood Community, and Paula and David Steakley of Houston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Shirley Boudreaux.
Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continue at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 AM until the start of the service. His funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Johnson Funeral. Reverend Ray Shawa will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
