Frederick Fritz J. Erbelding 85, of Lumberton, TX., died Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. in Robison Funeral Home Chapel and will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service. Fritz was a native of Johnson Bayou and longtime Sulphur resident. He retired after 40 years from Mobil Oil Company, where he worked in the oil field. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II where he participated in the Pacific Invasion. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sulphur and the Masonic Lodge. Fritz is survived by his wife, Wilma Erbelding of Baton Rouge, LA., 1 son, Fritz Gerald Erbelding and wife, Theresa of Lumberton, TX., 2 daughters, Bobbie Miller and husband, Archie and Phyllis McKee all of Baton Rouge, LA., 6 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
