Freida "Mim" Schlicher Garrison, 71 of Sulphur passed away on July 9, 2014 in her residence. "Mim" was born in Lake Charles and lived in Ged, LA until she married, moving to Sulphur. She was an Astros fan, especially watching Jeff Bagwell. "Mim" enjoyed life and had many hobbies, including coaching soft ball, playing cards, bowling, and painting. She enjoyed all of her nieces and nephews."Mim" will be remembered for her selfless spirit and the many benefits she gave over all the years for those in need. "Mim" is survived by her two sisters, Debbie DeLoach and Cherie Schnell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph William and Annabelle Lang Schlicher. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 4-9 p.m. with Denise Suarez leading a rosary at 7p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home until time of the service.
