Gail Anderson

Maria Gail Anderson, 84, of Lake Charles, died February 13, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Gail was born in Norco, LA. On July 10, 1938 to Albert and Alma Montz.  She was a lifetime resident of Louisiana, a graduate of Sulphur High School and received a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts from McNeese State University. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters; Lana Anderson Spangler of Houston, TX. and Lynn Anderson of Lake Charles, Granddaughter, Mary Beth Spong of Lake Charles, two great grandchildren, Taven Scott and Emma Spong, Sister, Lana Ann Davidson and her husband Robert of Sulphur, brother, Ricky “John” Montz and wife Sherrina of Sulphur, and nieces and nephews, Cary Davidson Tassin, Todd Davidson and his wife Shelly, Jodi Adams and Jeremy Montz.  Gail was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Charles Anderson and her son, Charles “Chuck” Anderson.

A gathering of her family and friends will be Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with her funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA. 70605.  Entombment will follow services at Consolata cemetery.
