Gail Elizabeth Sevier Reale

Gail Elizabeth Sevier Reale, 69, of Lake Charles passed away on May 30, 2022 in a Lafayette, LA care facility.  She was born in Westlake, LA on August 1, 1952 to Russell and Mercedes Pellegrin Sevier.

Gail was one of a kind.  She was a wife, mother, and grandmother.  Gail was a talented piano player and wonderful artist.  She enjoyed being with her family more than anything.  She was funny, graceful, and faithful.  May she always be remembered by her beautiful, colorful sprit.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Erik Reale (Stacy), Elizabeth Reale-Richard, Vance Reale (Delia), Alessandra Reale, and Victoria Reale (fiancé, James Lang); grandchildren, Parris, Hannah, Braelyn, Sawyer, and Luca Reale; her sister, Jill Sevier; her brother, Terry Sevier; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Sebastian “Roy” Reale; her parents; her brothers, Chris, Danny, Jerry, David and Kembo Sevier; and her grandson, Addison Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  Monsignor Daniel Torres will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until leaving for the church at 1:45 PM.
