Garry Leroy Todd

August 3, 1935 — October 22, 2021

Garry Leroy Todd, 86, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, in his residence.

Born in Morehouse, Missouri to Edgar Leroy and Mildred Tucker Todd, Mr. Todd was a graduate of University of Missouri.  He was a civil engineer for Conoco, until opening his own Engineering and Land Surveying firm, G. L. Todd and Associates.  Mr. Todd was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was an active member of specialty groups within the Shriners.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skeet-shooting.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Gina Clark and husband Tony of Ruston, Louisiana, Tara Johnson of Sulphur, Louisiana and Steven G. Todd of Naples, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Arthur Todd, Marcus Leroy Todd, Katie Lyn Clark, Jacob Anthony Clark, Kristen Nicole Clark, Garry Joseph Johnson, and Tara LeeAnn Johnson; seven great grandchildren, and one sister, Elizabeth Largent of San Diego, California. 

Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Jackson Todd; his parents; a son-in-law, Carl “Dude” Johnson; two grandchildren, Lucas Patrick Todd and Trisha Nicole Clark.

The family would like to express their grateful appreciation for the compassionate care given their father by WCCH ER, third floor nurses/support staff, and Heart of Hospice.

A private graveside service will be held at Mimosa Pines Cemetery at a later date.
