Gary Alexander Gray

Gary Alexander Gray, 84, of Lake Charles died at 9:48 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at a care facility in Atlanta Georgia. Mr. Gray was born on September 2, 1930 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to the parents of Carrie and Fernie Gray. After High School Gary served in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of McNeese State University with a degree in Chemistry and Geology. Mr. Gray worked for and retired from Vista Chemical and Conoco in Lake Charles. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Mary Sue Richard Gray of Lake Charles, LA., two daughters, Pam Carlson and husband Lee of Atlanta, GA, and Susan Gray of Portland, OR, one son, Scott Gray of Moss Bluff, LA, five grandchildren, Austin and Josh Carlson, Luke and Gabriel Mros, and Malory Gray. Mr. Gray is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers John and William Gray. His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon Harold Nixon will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 9:30 until the time of service.
