Gary Frank Roth, 61, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 1:42 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Roth was born January 21, 1954, in Lake Charles, LA, where he was a life-long resident. He attended St. Louis High School and was the owner / operator of Roth Electric for over twenty-five years. Mr. Roth was a hard worker and dedicated family man who loved to laugh and never met a stranger. He was a gun enthusiast and longtime member of the NRA. He also enjoyed competing in pistol competitions and watching westerns. Mr. Roth is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Theresa Roth; daughter, Michelle Roth and fiancé Kim Martin of Moss Bluff; son, Eric Roth and wife Imee of the Philippines; siblings, Chris Roth and wife Jeanette, Sheila Roth, Agnes Schultz, and Mike Roth; brother-in-law, Bob Higginbotham; sister-in-law, Penny Parker; grandchildren, Kelsey Sonnier and partner, Hali LeJeune, Kade Martin, Leslie Hurley, Asia Roth, Iden Roth, and Kinji Roth; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Carsten; along with numerous other family members and friends that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and John Roth; grandson, Jordan Scott Sonnier; and sister-in-law, Catherine Cormier. His funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Paula Raley will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
