Gary Mahaffey Breaux

Gary Mahaffey Breaux, 60, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. Breaux was a life long resident of Lake Charles. He was a loving father and an avid outdoorsman, having enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at his home on the river. He also enjoyed boating, water skiing and entertaining. Mr. Breaux's most cherished times were spent cooking for friends and family, his specialty being his prize winning chicken and sausage gumbo.

He leaves to honor his memory, three children, Chad Pierce and wife Jeanne of Austin, TX, Tracy Breaux of Houston, TX and Michael Breaux of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Esme', Shelby and Samuel Pierce, all of Austin, TX and two brothers, Bill Breaux and wife Carole of Lake Charles and Mack Breaux and wife Marlene of New Orleans.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Jeff Starkovich will officiate. Visitation Sunday will be from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM and will continue Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
