Gary R. Peshoff

Gary R. Peshoff, 59, of Lake Charles, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

Gary was a life- long resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He attended Alfred M. Barbe High School. Gary served in the United States Navy. He worked for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office. He worked for Dunham Price Inc. for many years as a cement truck driver. Gary also worked as a self employed painter in the lake area. He was a jack of all trades. He attended Christ the King Catholic Church.

He is survived by two sons: Christopher Lee Peshoff of Scott, LA, and Scott LeBert of Lake Charles, LA his daughter, Heather Gauthreaux and husband Chris of Sulphur, LA, his companion of 15 years Samantha LeBert of Lake Charles, his parents Gilbert and Ruby Peshoff of Lake Charles, LA, three sisters: Brenda Conner and husband Charles of Bundicks Lake, LA, Marilyn Conner and husband Leonard of Dayton, TX, Darlene Rose and husband Charles Robert of Leesville, LA, three grandchildren: Avril and Christopher Gauthreaux and Danta Leonard.

Mr. Peshoff is preceded in death by one grandson, Cameron LeBert.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue at 8:00 AM on Saturday until the time of services.
