Gay Loraine Lequeux

Gay Loraine LeQueux, 66, of Sulphur, LA., passed away on June 13, 2021. Gay was born on November 7, 1954, in Sulphur, LA., to Robert and Hazel Atkinson. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching T.V.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Robert Jean LeQueux Jr. and wife Shannon, John Mark LeQueux and wife Rachel, Susie LeQueux and Shane Singleton; Grandchildren, Steven LeQueux, Courtney LeQueux, Nathan LeQueux, Deborah LeQueux, John LeQueux Jr., Justin Singleton, Dillion Singleton, Carley Singleton, Cameron Singleton, Trinity LeQueux, and Brooklyn LeQueux; Brother, Brian Atkinson and wife, Betina; Sister, Jackie Deshotel and Husband, Scott.

Gay was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Hazel Atkinson, Brothers, Terry Atkinson, and Mark Atkinson, grand-daughter, Megan LeQueux, and her son, James LeQueux.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Gay will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 5 PM at The ROC Church, 3083 Carbide Drive Sulphur, LA 70665.  The family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of service.
