Gaye Thomas Stoker Martin

Gaye Thomas Stoker Martin, 83, of Westlake, LA passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Gaye was born on June 4, 1938, in West Monroe, LA to Charles and Maxine Thomas. She enjoyed being around friends and family most of all. Gaye enjoyed gambling, garage sales, Mardi gras, and Christmas shopping for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jeffery Martin; one daughter, Pamela Renee Handy and husband Ron of Miami Beach, FL; sons, Shane Stoker and wife Terri of Pensacola, FL, Trevor Stoker of Maui, Hawaii, and Jason Stoker and wife Stacy; grandchildren, Chad Stoker and Cheri, Jared Stoker and Chelsea, Kristin Nix and Ricky, Ashlie Handy, Tiffany Handy, Lindsay Handy, Hunter Handy, Kalli Simmons and Aaron, Shelbi Reed and Billy, Buster Stoker and Rachel, Mackenzie Trahan and Austin; 12 great grandchildren; one twin sister, Kaye Creel; The many members of the beloved family of Bridget and Ken Badon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. and Maxine Thomas; father of their children, Robert Olsen “Skipper” Stoker; brothers, Charles E. Thomas and Huey “Buster” Thomas; and one granddaughter Brianna.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 10:00 AM Saturday until time of service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Dutch Cove Cemetery.
