Gayland Wade Cormier

Gayland Wade Cormier, 55, of Lake Charles passed away on March 18, 2016 in a local hospital. Gayland loved airplanes, eighteen wheelers, motorcycles, horses and watching action pack movies. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Gayland is survived by his two sisters, Cindy Shotwell and husband Edwin “Eddie” of DeRidder and Brenda Cormier of Vinton; and his 9 nieces and nephews, Lassa, Stacye, Kenrick, Jason, Amanda, Eric, Chad, Chris and Dusty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elridge and Billy Cormier.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 3 P.M.at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Gray officiating.  A private burial will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2-3 P.M.at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home until time of the service.
