Gayleen Duhon

Gayleen Duhon, 57, of Moss Bluff, died Sunday January 12, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born in Lake Charles to William Thomas and Muriel Myers Uptigrove. Gayleen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend that will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Patrick Hadley. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are he loving husband of 28 years, Chester Duhon; daughters, Michelle Richard and husband Arnold, Audrey Stelly and husband Jonathan and Ginger Trahan and husband Robby; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanine Uptigrove; brother, Brent Uptigrove; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and her baby, her poodle, Teejay. Visitation will be at Creel Memorial Chapel from 5:00 PM Wednesday January 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Creel Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Ardizone officiating. Burial will be at Creel Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Robby Trahan, Arnold Richard, Jonathan Stelly, Caleb Richard, Adam Viator, Gabe Hadley and honorary pallbearer Greg Richard.
