Georgie Lee Royer Guillory

Georgie Lee Guillory, 86, of Lake Charles, LA died at 3:55 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at a local care facility. Mrs. Guillory was born February 16, 1929 in DeQuincy, LA and has lived all of her life in Lake Charles. She was raised of the Baptist Faith and retired from Gulf Coast Furniture. During her younger years, she enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing. She also enjoyed fixing and repairing things of all types. Mrs. Guillory is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lee Elkins and husband Danny of Lake Charles; son, Robert Hugh Harveson and wife Ramona of Thibodaux; grandchildren, Rhett Harveson, Tara Harveson, Bridget Broussard and husband Ricky, Mike Toups, and Aaron Toups and wife Allison; and great-grandchildren, Alec, Emma and Ella Broussard, Hunter and Ryleigh Toups and two baby Toups on-the-way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Guillory; one brother; and one sister. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Willie Bellard will officiate. Burial will follow Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service. The family would like to express a special word of thanks to her niece, Linda Lou Denby and the staff of Harbor Hospice for the care and compassion that they received.
