Funeral services for Mr. Gerald F. Sevier, 70, of Sulphur, will be held at 2pm, Friday, January 28, 2011 in St. Theresa Catholic Church. Father Joe Aquino will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Thursday, Jan. 27th from 4pm - 9pm with a rosary at 7pm and resume on Friday morning from 8am - until time of procession to the church. Mr. Sevier passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in a Lake Charles hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents: Russel & Mercedes Sevier and 2 brothers: Danny and Chris Sevier. Mr. Sevier retired from the United States Navy after serving his country for 27 years. He was a Mines Warfare Instructor and served as Master Chief in South Carolina. Mr. Sevier was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and spent his retirement traveling with his wife, enjoying his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife: Presentacion Sevier, Carlyss; 7 Children: Carol Breaux & husband Kevin, Houma, La.; Reni Myers & husband Brent, Carlyss; Rose Cospolich & husband Stephen, Dallas, Tx; Anthony Sevier & wife Christy, St. Louis, MO; Rachelle May, West Monroe; Lori Gates & husband Joe, Bossier City; Debbie Hardin & husband Jon, Alexandria; 8 Grandchildren: Aidan & Gillian Myers, Madeline & Isabelle Cospolich, Brandi & Jordan Breaux, Rebecca & Glen May; 2 Great Grandchildren: Braxton & Bailey Breaux; God Daughter: Victtoria Reale; 3 Brothers: David Sevier & wife Sybil, Vidor, Tx; Terry Sevier & wife Lynn, Ragley; Kembo Sevier, Lake Charles; 2 Sisters: Gail Reale & husband Sebastian, Lake Charles; Jill Sevier, Pineville, La.
