Gerald Jerry Soileau, Jr.

Gerald Jerry Soileau, Jr., 63, of Lake Charles passed away Sunday, March 03, 2013 in a local healthcare facility.

Mr. Soileau was a lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School. He proudly served sixteen years in the United States Navy and two years in the Naval Reserve. Mr. Soileau was a devout Military man, whom had an overwhelming love of his country and the freedom it represents. He followed his military career with a career of thirty years in Security Services. Having worked for several refineries, he worked primarily with Weiser Security Services. Mr. Soileau enjoyed watching movies and listening to Swamp Pop music, especially, Elvis Presley.

He leaves to honor his memory, his step-mother, Lottie Soileau of Lake Charles; one sister, Mary Suzette Eaves and husband Richard of Spring, TX; aunts; uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Frances Mary Manzella and one brother, Michael Soileau.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday March 06, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend ------- will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
