Geraldine L. Cole

Geraldine L Cole, 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in a local care facility.

Ms. Cole was born on February 22, 1942 in Sulphur, LA. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with family. She worked at Sears for 28 years and taught Sunday School for 15 years at Trinity Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. Mrs. Cole was kind, compassionate, caring lady who was very devoted to family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Debbie Seago (Joe) and Kay Carter (Allen); grandchildren, Lauren Antony (Matt), Dylan Carter (Baly), Bryce Carter and Kamryn Seago; great grandchildren, Peyton Antony, Harper Antony and one great granddaughter on the way; siblings, Cheryl Austin and Patti Trosclair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Lou Cox and Ernest W. Cox, Sr. (Dudgie) and a brother, Ernie Cox.

Funeral services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Jerry Parmentier will officiate.  Burial will be in Creel Cemetery at Camp Pearl following the service. Visitation will begin at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the start of the service.
